The development of a volleyball player, like that of any other athlete, depends upon physical preparation, technical preparation, tactical preparation, and psychological preparation. 

Physical preparation must come first.  Why? Because such physical attributes as speed and strength are necessary in getting to the ball quickly, jumping high and in hitting the ball powerfully.  It is as simple as that.  Volleyball players need to understand that their physical development ultimately determines their level of success and may even determine what position on the court they may be able to play.

A volleyball player who is well trained knows it!  They feel confident and poised to win when stepping onto the court.  On the other hand, no amount of “psych” will help an athlete with glaring physical weakness that has not been attended to.  The immediate and obvious physical comparison to the opponent is the first one that athletes will make.  Much as an athlete may want to believe that she is capable of handling a much stronger, more powerful opponent, at the “decisive moment” the body will be sending a different message.  In the end, the body wins most arguments. 

Strength training in one form or another must be done.

Sky High has a mission to make better volleyball players by providing them with a quality program designed to improve performance and prevention of injuries. The training program only runs 4 - quarters per year.  You, as the athlete reserve times that fit YOUR schedule.

College Development Training Program (High School Elite)

Our flagship H.S.E. Program is for those VOLLEYBALL athletes who aspire to play collegiate athletics. We carefully select each participate for entry into this program for this program isn't geared towards all that enters the door. H.S.E. has an intense focus on Strength, Speed and Power training techniques centered around an athlete’s individual needs,  The training is unmatched in its intensity and utilizes advanced training methods to help athletes break through previous speed, strength, and strength plateaus.  

Ages: 15 and Up
Group Size: 6 per Group                                   
Max Session Duration: 60 - 90 Minutes

Club Volleyball Conditioning

Our Sports Conditioning SAQ program is the most complete program in the DFW area.  We focus on basic conditioning methods, which classes are normally handle before or after practice. In a team format.

Ages: 16 – 18                                                   
Group Size: 6 per Group                                   
Max Session Duration: 45 minutes
